Spam and virus analysis procedure

In order to be able to analyze your e-mails to identify them as spam or ham, to be able to give you feedback and to use them to feed our databases and spam filters, we would be grateful if you could provide us with the following information.

Emails sent must be original messages; forwarded messages cannot be taken into account.

Emails sent to us must be the complete original messages (with header, body and attachments), exported in full as a file. To do this, the original message must be exported from your e-mail client (usually in .MSG, .EML or .TXT format). In Outlook, for example, the easiest way is to drag and drop the message directly onto the desktop.

There’s no point in sending us several emails a day, just store a few copies (no more than 10) in a directory and send them all at once in a single email.

Messages exported in this way from your e-mail client in the form of a file must be sent to us as an attachment to the specific e-mail address: spam @ altospam.com.

Before transferring them to us, please make sure that they have passed through ALTOSPAM. All you need to do is check for the “Received” field in the message header (menu View / Options in Outlook), which includes the contact details of one of our servers.

Please note: if you would like us to send you feedback, please specify this clearly in the e-mail you send us.
