Protection and safety at every level
Altospam offers an e-mail protection service. Beyond the security of our customers’ emails, we guarantee the security of our systems, our customers and our data at every level, through a wide range of technical and human processes. In this article, we present all our human, technical and legal commitments to ensure maximum confidentiality of all data.
Our engineers are all experts in electronic messaging, at the level of computer engineers specialized in IT security. They contribute to the day-to-day protection of information passing through our servers, and are committed to total confidentiality.
All our employees have signed a strict confidentiality agreement and are bound by confidentiality and non-disclosure obligations. In addition, only authorized personnel can access sensitive information and servers, and access is controlled by several authentication mechanisms.
As our business requires, we take the security of the information entrusted to us to heart, and we work to design complex, original and reliable processes to achieve this. Altospam and MailOut servers are highly protected and secured by a set of safeguards against cyber-attacks. They have been certified by the PCI-DSS and are regularly subjected to vulnerability scans and penetration tests to ensure perfect consistency.
As far as communications are concerned, as far as the remote server allows, all SMTP communications are automatically encrypted in TLS, as defined in RFC 5246, to ensure compatibility and encryption of communications whatever the remote server.
All OKTEY infrastructures are monitored 24/7 thanks to a combination of physical computer surveillance and electronic monitoring by internal monitoring tools, process verification programs and external supervision robots.
In accordance with article 23 of law no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, amended in 2004, our internal database is registered with the CNIL under number: 1794403v0. All our connection logs and all traces of the various messages filtered by our servers are kept for a period of 1 year.
Finally, our services are governed exclusively by French and European law, so we are in no way subject to the USA Patriot Act. All our servers are located in France.
