New features for users

For several months now, our customers have been offering their users a personal interface. We have recently updated this service to include new features. Users can now view and download emails blocked by anti-spam or queued.

As a reminder, the user interface can be accessed directly at the following address
https://www.altospam.eu/user/
to all Altospam end-users. A new “Pending Emails” tab is available, which when clicked displays emails waiting to be sent to your mail server (in case of server downtime, for example).

This new Altospam service lets you view these emails by clicking on the eye icon. We have also enabled our customers’ users to download these emails and any attachments they may have.

However, don’t forget that access to this interface requires you to send an authentication email. So if your mail server is unavailable, it won’t be the right time to create a user account, so remember to do this beforehand. If you’ve subscribed to the summary e-mail, you can also access the user interface, but in this case the link is only operational for 7 days.

In addition, Altospam now allows you to view and download a permanently blocked email. Until now, it was only possible to release a blocked email directly from the user interface logs. We’ve added this feature to allow the user to view a potentially dangerous email, but safely before releasing it.

Some customers have expressed the wish to give their users the option of choosing their own password. Until now, they were automatically assigned a password. So we decided to add this feature.
